[28 Sep 2011|06:25pm] I have an interview with up and coming singer Celestina Werbeck coming up in the next edition of the DP, it's pretty hard hitting journalism. You should all read it and discover which is her favourite place in London to get a drink. Hint, it's the Leaky. Kidding aside, she was far less of a prima donna than I thought she would be and we comped our drinks to the DP, so successful night in all. I'm making my pumpkin harvest biscuits tonight since it is actually cool out and the weather for pumpkin harvest biscuits. They're super easy and I would share the recipe, but I don't want my greatest creation since making my own fruit infused vodkas to be taken away from me. [15 Sep 2011|06:40pm] I'm getting my first cold of the season, welcome autumn, thanks for the reason to make sitting through an interview with the host of The Witching Hour that much harder. On the plus side, I have a reason to curl up with a cup of tea, put on my new flannel pajamas, tops and buttons, and my at home worn in grey cardigan. I just need to go find my slippers and start going over these notes for my story. I'm feeling torn on my oncoming cold. I'm hoping Emma will take pity on her sister and bring me a mug of soup. Penelope keeps rubbing her little cat face on my flannel pant clad legs, I'm taking that as a seal of approval. 36 written ( write another )

[05 Sep 2011|06:36pm] It's a terrible tragedy to lose anyone from our community and the Bones family are in my thoughts. My sister Emily is quite shaken up by everything that's been going on in the news, and she thinks getting away to Dorset for the weekend would be calming. My parents had a nice little cottage out that way and I haven't been there in years. It just felt odd, like I should have been at work the entire time, even though my department wasn't as busy as some of the others at the paper. I think it would be generous to off my assistance to any of the other departments who may need it. I'm sure it has been a very long weekend for everyone. 32 written ( write another )
